Tam Gill - Principal Solicitor

- Tam Gill qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and has since specialised in mental health work. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel since 2004.
- She has a wealth of experience of Mental Health and Prison Law (including Parole Board work) and is a specialist in forensic work, working extensively with patients in High Secure and Medium Secure Hospitals.
- She has previous extensive experience as a clinical research biochemist working on research relating to psycho-tropic medication.
- Tam is a MHLA (Mental Health Lawyers Association) Committee member.
- Fluent in Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi.
Kayt Foster - Senior Solicitor

- Kayt qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel since 2006 .
- She has a wide experience in all areas of mental health law with previous experience in criminal and family work.
- With a Masters degree in Child Law Kayt has a particular interest in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Kayt is a member of the MHLA
Elizabeth Beaney - Tribunal Representative

- Elizabeth is a Mental Health Tribunal Representative. She has a wide breadth of mental health law experience and has specialised in this area since 2003.
- She has extensive experience of representing clients at Tribunal hearings, Hospital Manager's hearings and Care Programme Approach reviews. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel since 2007.
- Elizabeth is available to represent clients in the whole of Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight.
- Elizabeth is a member of the MHLA.
Anne Webster - Consultant Solicitor

- Anne has been a solicitor since 1996 specialising originally in criminal law and now in mental health law.
- She started work in the voluntary sector, working first for CSV and then for NACRO. After training as a solicitor, she co-founded a legal firm, which specialised in crime and prison law.
- Anne is available to represent clients in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, and London.
- She is a member of the MHLA.
Deborah Best - Consultant Solicitor

- Deborah qualified as a solicitor in 2000. She has a background in mental health, family and criminal law. She currently specialises in mental health law, in particular cases with a forensic and/or human rights element.
- Deborah has extensive experience in advising and assisting clients at Care Programme Approach meetings as well as representing clients at Hospital Managers hearings and Mental Health Tribunal hearings.
- She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel since 2004 and is police station accredited. Deborah is available to represent clients in London, Essex, Kent and East Sussex.
- Deborah is a member of the MHLA.
Sam Polson - Consultant Solicitor

- Sam is an experienced solicitor, admitted in 2001 and has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel since 1999.
- Sam represents clients at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers hearings. Sam' s clients include civil and forensic patients detained in low, medium and high secure hospitals as well as those discharged to the community and seeking after-care and absolute discharge.
- Sam has undertaken cases, which have been subsequently reported and have had an impact on the development of case law in this very dynamic area. These include: R (on the application of B)V Camden LBC {2005}EWCH ; Robinson v London Borough of Waltham Forest Co/9360/2005.
- Sam is available to represent clients in London, Essex, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Sussex and Kent
- Sam is a member of the MHLA.
Louise Gledhill - Practice Manager

- Louise has lengthy experience working in the mental health field. She has been Practice Manager for Gledhill Solicitors since the firm was established in 1998.
- She has previously worked in social housing and as a qualified counsellor with adults and young women.
